Maintenance
Seneca Flight Operations is a F.A.A. – certified Repair Station (No. SFOR0661). We are experienced in the maintenance of both piston and turbine powered aircraft. In addition to providing for the maintenance of our own and our management fleet of corporate aircraft, Seneca maintains a wide range of aircraft for both private owners and other corporations.
We are able to realize financial and operational efficiencies that would not otherwise be possible due to our in–house maintenance. It directly benefits our charter and management customers because aircraft are maintained to our strict standards, resulting in less down time. Further, when a mechanical issue does ground the aircraft, our maintenance staff is on the scene to restore the aircraft to full airworthiness. This results in minimum delays to those who matter most, our customers.
Seneca Flight Operations is always looking at ways to save our customers money. We believe that repeat customers are essential to our business. To that end, we always seek to reduce their maintenance costs by reducing ours. We achieve cost savings by thoroughly researching all parts through a variety of reputable vendors and making the best purchase. That includes balancing out price, warranty and shipping cost. In addition to parts procurement, we use our industry experience to secure the best options for specialized maintenance (engine overhauls, etc.). Providers of this maintenance are aware of our standing in the industry, and as a result we receive highly competitive bids.
We are proud of our sterling record of safety and believe that maintenance of aircraft is a relationship of the highest trust. Our maintenance staff attends formal training courses and seminars presented by the original equipment manufacturer and/or authorized maintenance training organizations such as Flight Safety International. One of the maxims of the trade is "Would I release this aircraft for flight if my family were onboard?". In the case of Seneca Flight Operations, the answer must always be an unequivocal "Yes"!
