 Fixed Based Operations
Seneca Flight Operations F.B.O. (Fixed Based Operator) manages all phases of operation of the Penn Yan – Yates County Airport. Two runways allow us to accommodate air traffic ranging from small piston aircraft to business jets. Three instrument approaches to different runway ends allow for safe arrivals even in inclement weather. Seneca Flight Operations FBO serves customer needs at the airport. In addition to managing the airport, Seneca Flight Operations serves as the sole F.B.O. As is detailed in the following points, we provide for the needs of flying customers while they are on the ground.
We provide fuel serving as a primary function. Seneca always offers competitively priced fuel for both the piston and turbine engine customer. We are not associated with a particular fuel brand for either type, as this allows us the freedom to secure delivery of the lowest priced fuel at all times. Quality, however, remains a top priority. Seneca Flight Operations F.B.O. will arrange ground transportation and recommend accommodations upon arrival. We have a contractual relationship with Enterprise Rent–A–Car, and will coordinate the rental for the customer. When a vehicle is needed only briefly, arrangements for limousine or taxi service can be made.
Seneca Flight Operations F.B.O. responds to the needs of our customers. We work regularly with local caterers. No food service request is too big or small. Our pilot lounge features a computer with high speed Internet access for available for flight planning and weather checks as well as satellite television. We offer aircraft tie down, towing, and hangar services. Since Seneca Flight Operations is also a Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) &ndsh; certified Repair Station, we can assist customers who may experience mechanical difficulties on their flight. Whether the Penn Yan Airport is the beginning, middle, or end of your journey, we want to be remembered as a friendly and helpful contributor.
